The firm began operations in 1975 with a single location in the city's center, primarily serving the retail industry. Today, the firm has grown to six showrooms, providing to the retail and wholesale trade in the local market as well as the international market, which includes Iran, the CIS and East Europe, Africa, the GCC, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The firm has grown significantly year over year.

In 1975, Badri Electro Supply and Trading Company ("BESTCO") began operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to create and market a brand called NOVA.

Nova has been inexorably responsive, and has consistently offered more services, value and information about home comfort priorities and options to add on with new dimensions at large.
